MUSEO ARTE SACRA

 Posto sul fianco della chiesa parrocchiale di Schilpario, nell’antica chiesetta di San Rocco, di cui si conserva la pregevole statua in una nicchia, il museo parrocchiale d’arte sacra custodisce numerosi oggetti risalenti agli ultimi quattro secoli e in massima parte ancora utilizzati nella liturgia odierne.

Il museo permette di cogliere la continuità con i nostri avi grazie al sobrio cambiamento delle usanze liturgiche, permettendo al visitatore di cogliere attraverso gli oggetti il cammino percorso dalla chiesa.

Un’occasione imperdibile per apprezzare, oltre alla bellezza della chiesa parrocchiale e dei suoi quadri, gli affreschi e le sculture, una miriade di finissimi paramenti, calici, suppellettili, arredi, libri a testimonianza di una profondissima devozione cristiana. U  piccolo viaggio che ci riporta alla vita degli schilparesi dei secoli scorsi, quando affrontavano con tenacia e intelligenza le fatiche della vita e del duro lavoro e , nonostante la sobrietà e le ristrettezze delle proprie case, trovavano piena soddisfazione e gioioso orgoglio nel partecipare ai momenti religiosi che si celebravano in una chiesa bellissima e ricca di oggetti raffinati.

Tra i vari oggetti presenti nel museo risalta, per le dimensioni e per l’impatto emotivo, il monumentale catafalco. Una suggestiva realizzazione che va colta come occasione di catechesi cristiana sul tema della morte e come efficace appello a usar bene della propria esistenza valida per l’uomo di ogni tempo.

Tra gli oggetti custoditi, molto importanti, soprattutto dal punto di vista affettivo, sono, quelli appartenuti ad alcuni grandi teologi nativi di Schilpario.

Il più illustre è il cardinal Angelo Maj, lo “scopritor famoso”, sommo paleografo al quale è stata dedicata una poesia da Giacomo Leopardi ed il cui nome è legato alla Piazza centrale del paese.

Mons. Simon Pietro Grassi, Vescovo di Tortona e Mons. Andera Spada, da poco scomparso, che per oltre 50 anni ha ricoperto il ruolo di direttore de L’Eco di Bergamo.

Sono anch’essi personaggi che hanno contribuito, con la loro importanza, a far conoscere Schilpario all’esterno della Valle di Scalve e che giustamente vengono ricordati in questa importante mostra di oggetti sacri.

MUSEUM SACRED ART

Sets on the side of the parish church of Schilpario, in the ancient chiesetta of St. Rocco, of which the valuable statue preserves him in a niche, the parish museum of sacred art guards numerous going up again objects to the last four centuries and in maximum part still used in the liturgy today's.

The museum allows to gather the continuity with our ancestors thanks to the sober change of the liturgical customs, allowing the visitor to gather through the objects the walk crossed from the church.

An occasion imperdibile to appreciate, besides the beauty of the parish church and his/her pictures, the frescos and the sculptures, a myriad of thin hangings, wine glasses, furnishings, furnish, books to testimony of a deep Christian devotion. U small trip that brings us to the life of the schilparesis of the last centuries, when they faced with tenacity and intelligence the works of the life and the hard job and, despite the sobriety and the narrowness of his/her own houses, they found full satisfaction and cheerful pride in to participate in the religious moments that were celebrated in a very beautiful and rich church of refined objects.

Among the various present objects in the museum it jumps, for the dimensions and for the emotional impact, the monumental bier. A suggestive realization that as occasion of Christian catechesis must be gathered on the theme of the death and as effectiveness appeal to usar well of his/her own valid existence for the man of every time.

Among the guarded objects, very important, above all from the affective point of view, I am, those belonged to some great theologians native of Schilpario.

The most illustrious is the cardinal Angel Maj, him "famous scopritor", highest paleografo to which a poetry has been devoted by Giacomo Leopardi and whose name is tied up to the central Plaza of the country.

They are also them characters that have contributed, with theirs importance, to make to know Schilpario to the outside of the Valley of Scalve and that justly you/they are remembered in this important show of sacred objects.
